About Philip D. Harvey
Phil Harvey’s published work includes fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. His short story “Bait and Switch” won the Antietam Review’s annual literary contest and was published in that magazine. Another published story was nominated by Phantasmagoria for a Pushcart Prize. Harvey’s stories have appeared in 15 publications including The MacGuffin, Natural Bridge, and The Erotic Review.
A dozen more stories appear in his third book, Government Creep, published by Loompanics Press last year.
His nonfiction includes The Government vs. Erotica, which the American Library Association’s Intellectual Freedom Roundtable nominated as a best book on intellectual freedom; Let Every Child Be Wanted, which former President Jimmy Carter praised; and more than 40 articles, columns and letters in The New York Times, the Washington Post and other periodicals.
By day, Phil Harvey is president of DKT International, a small, risk-oriented social marketing organization, and president and majority shareholder of PHE, also known as Adam & Eve, a mail order business that sells sexually oriented books and films.
He has appeared on CNN and network television as well as on numerous radio talk shows, and he is at home in front of live audiences.
